From bush trained Carignano grapes native of the island, on the coast if South Sulcis, comes this award winning and excellent red wine.
The Carignano del Sulcis Riserva DOC is a red wine matured for ten months in French durmast barrels, it presents itself with a ruby red colour to the eyes; we perceive notes of blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, myrtle, leather and liquorice to the nose. To the palate it stands out an ample and velvety, structured and persistent taste. It goes well with red meats, boar meat, reasted pork and mature Sardinian pecorino cheese.
