Carignano del Sulcis with Denomination of Controlled Origin. this wine has a characteristic red colour and a good consistency in the glass, at the nose one may perceive hints of small red fruits, like blackberries and fresh cherries, it has floral notes of wilted red roses and lightly spiced by cinnamon and cloves. It taste has a good structure and at the same time it has fast drinkability, good freshness and strong sapidity, balanced by a nice alcoholic percentage and a softness characteristic to the vineyard. Ideal and delicious, during an aperitif it can accompany pizza slices. It goes particularly well with strong first courses like “malloreddus alla campidenese” or “parmigiana di melanzane”, second courses like grilled pork ribs or mature cheeses.
